What to Expect

Mentorship: Personalized mentorship from experts in evidence synthesis, biostatistics, and research methodology. Each batch includes around 10 mentees for collaborative learning and individual guidance.

Weekly Online Sessions: Live interactive sessions via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, scheduled according to mentee availability across time zones.

Curriculum Highlights

This intensive 12-week program provides hands-on experience conducting a full meta-analysis—from research question to manuscript submission.

• Define a precise research question
• Develop and register a PRISMA-based protocol
• Conduct database search and structured screening
• Perform data extraction and coding
• Assess heterogeneity, study quality, and bias
• Use RevMan, R, or STATA for analysis
• Create forest plots and funnel plots
• Prepare manuscript for indexed journal submission

Tasks and Contribution

Weekly structured tasks mirror real-world research workflow, ensuring practical learning and measurable contribution.

Authorship order is determined transparently based on contribution quality, consistency, and participation.
